Then twist the handle all the way to the left (clockwise). It should then click into place. You have to be forceful and executive with it. If you mean the chopper attachment (CH600), it is listed as an accessory in my user manual but I have yet to try it. The postage may be expensive. Most parts and accessories are still listed for sale on ebay and the internet and the instruction manual is also still available online. If in doubt, look closely at the picture of what you're buying; the vast majority of the time, Braun's different models have parts that definitely look different from each other. All of these are essentially the same machine, the higher model numbers simply being the ones with more bowls and more attachments. Further info: Model number 3202 and 3205 are ALSO the exact same thing - you're safe buying those parts. And the words in the model names, such as CombiMax and whatever other names they've been called, make no difference at all - if the numbers match, you're set. The models to avoid buying the wrong parts are the 4259, 4262,.Those are the wrong parts for your machine, and sometimes unfortunately those parts CAN look similar to yours in a picture. We blitzed some fish last night and remnants remain in the shafts of both the lid (a tiny inaccessible ribbed white cone) and the blade (also hard to clean). I'm a careful hand-washer for my kitchen equipment, so ours gets washed in the sink in hot suds; we've had ours for 20 years and it's still in excellent condition and definitely not smelly, even after periodically blitzing garlic and other foods that could end up being smelly. As with ALL washing up, best effects and cleansing starts with rinsing and soaking in COLD water immediately after use, especially with items with awkward parts to get into; also best before using dishwasher. If necessary clean all parts thoroughly with a spatula or a brush before rinsing them. Colour intensive food (e.g. carrots) may leave stains on the plastic parts. I have used a toothpick on the area I can reach and had the components soaking in a mild solution of bleach as detergent wasn't effective. I will put the bowl, lid and blade in the dishwasher now and hope that this fixes our problem. Make sure you have the bowl and lid firmly locked into position. Otherwise the unit won't turn on. Failing that test, you'll probably have to seek out a service rep to take a look at it.
